Hi, I'm Jessica!
Dogs have been at the centre of my life for as long as I can remember. My passion for training grew through years of hands-on experience in veterinary medicine, fostering, and continuing education, giving me the opportunity to work with dogs of all breeds, temperaments, and behavioural needs.
With over five years in veterinary medicine, I've developed a strong understanding of canine health, behaviour, and welfare. Combined with experience fostering dogs and ongoing mentorship with professional trainers, I've built a training philosophy rooted in clear communication, fairness, and long-term success.
I'm certified in Pet First Aid and remain committed to continuing my education through seminars, courses, and mentorship to ensure I’m always providing the highest standard of training and care.
My goal is simple: help owners enjoy life with a dog they can confidently take anywhere.

Colt
In loving memory 2019–2025
Colt will always be the heart of Reliable Canine.
He inspired my journey into training and taught me the true value of patience, communication, and trust. Everything I teach today is built on the lessons Colt gave me.
Helly
Helly is my Belgian Malinois and training partner.
Actively training in IGP while exploring sports such as dock diving and sprint work, she continually challenges me to improve as both a trainer and handler.
Her drive, intelligence, and work ethic remind me that great training comes from consistency, clarity, and teamwork.
Mani
Mani is my adopted Doberman and the calm presence in our home.
He reminds me that reliability isn't measured by titles or sport achievements, but by confidence, stability, and a strong relationship.
His temperament reflects the balance I strive to help every client achieve with their own dog.
Our Rescue Involvement
Reliable Canine is proud to be actively involved with Belgian Shepherds Rescue of Canada, where Jessica serves as Co-Director.
Through this role, she helps support the rescue’s mission of responsible placement, rehabilitation, and advocacy for Belgian Shepherds in need.
Our involvement allows us to provide care, guidance, and support throughout each dog's rescue journey while working alongside dedicated fosters, volunteers, and adopters to create successful lifelong matches.
We are passionate about responsible ownership and helping dogs receive the structure, training, and support they need to thrive.
